The Real Balneario Carlos III, or Carlos III Royal Spa, founded in the 18th century by Madrid's king and mayor, who gave it its name. The present-day building, which stands within an impressive 40-hectare estate surrounded by oaks, holm oaks and pines and encircled by the Tajo River, was inaugurated on August 1, 2005. How to get there:

From Madrid Expressway A2 (Madrid-Zaragoza) towards Zaragoza, Exit 101 Almadrones-Cifuentes. Take N-204 toward Cifuentes. After Cifuentes continue on N-204 toward Sacedón. In Gárgoles de Abajo, turn onto CM-2115 toward Trillo. After arriving in Trillo, follow the signs to the Real Balneario Carlos III spa. From the North Expressway A2 (Zaragoza-Madrid) towards Madrid, Exit 103 Almadrones -Cifuentes. Take N-204 towards Cifuentes. After Cifuentes continue along N-204 towards Sacedón. In Gárgoles de Abajo, turn onto CM-2115 towards Trillo. After arriving in Trillo, follow the signs to the Real Balneario Carlos III spa.
