The hotel has been listed as a national monument since June 1931 and is located on a rocky outcrop on the highest hill in Illueca. Its construction during the 13th century was ordered by Juan Martínez de Luna whose son, Pedro Luna, gained a name in history as Benedict XIII, Pope Luna. Here, you will be able to relax in the charming café, take in the stunning panoramic views from the lounge as well as enjoying the numerous facilities offered in each and every room. This 3-storey hotel was renovated in 2006 and comprises a total of 26 rooms of which 2 are junior suites, 2 are suites and 2 rooms have been adapted to cater to disabled guests. The hotel is located close to the Monasterio de Piedra (45 minutes? drive), Calatayud (around 20 minutes? drive), the Cariñena winegrowing region (20 minutes? drive) and the shoe museum, Museo del Calzado ( 10 minutes? drive). The city centre and a selection of bars are to be found about 200 m away and it is 20 minutes by car to a lake and around 45 minutes to Zaragoza. Zaragoza airport is 80 km from the hotel.

Take the National road II (E-90) and exit at junction 255. Take the A1503 in the direction of Illueca.
