This spectacular golf resort is peacefully located in the north of the Costa Brava, amidst wonderful lush green surrounds, but is still just a short distance from a range of cultural sights. It is 20 minutes to a beautiful bay and the nearest beaches along the Costa Brava as well as 10 minutes from an array of pretty villages such as the main town of Figueres where a railway station, bus stop, shops and the Dali museum are to be found. It is just under 30 km to Empuriabrava where bars, pubs and nightclubs are located and it is well worth paying a visit to the seaside resort of Roses, which is around 40 km away and L´Escala that is approximately 33 km from the hotel and features Roman ruins. The tourist centre of Cadaques is 53 km from the hotel. Girona and Barcelona airports are 60 km and 160 km from the hotel respectively. The area´s appetising gastronomy is famous throughout Europe.
Rooms:
All of the warmly decorated rooms have disabled access and come with a bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a TV, a minibar and a safe. The apartments are either a suite with a bedroom (64 m², 1 double bed, 30 m² terrace, garden) or a suite with 2 bedrooms (80 m², one room with a double bed, one room with two 1.80 m single beds, 100 m² terrace, garden). Each suite features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave oven and cooking utensils. The air conditioning and heating are both individually adjustable.
Sport and leisure activities:
Leisure options include 2 open-air pools around which sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use, and a poolside snack bar. There is a 3,500 m² fitness and spa area for which fees apply, containing an indoor pool, a Jacuzzi, a sun terrace, a sauna, hammam, thermal baths, a massage service, a gym and countless beauty, health and diet programmes. Fees apply for use of the tennis courts, rowing boats and the golf course. The Championships par 72 golf course located directly beside the hotel is ideal for both beginners and advanced golfers. The first round is quite technical: hilly, some narrow fairways between the forests. The 2nd nine wider and completely flat holes allow the player to relax a little and appreciate the marvellous views out over the surrounding area. Water and bunkers are scattered over the course and there are many greens to manoeuvre with caution. Two English teachers run the golf school and offer a wide range of courses: beginners, advanced, collective, packages, green card and technical equipment. There is a video & swing analyser available for use, as well as practice facilities and a bunker, putting and approaching area. Driving range (completely flat and wide) of 350 m in length with 2 positions (space for 20 persons on each). 3 practice holes (2 par 4, 1 par 3). Eight further golf courses along the Costa Brava are between 20 and 45 minutes from the hotel.
