This hotel is situated in one of the most attractive areas of the island, in the heart of Guiniguada valley, one of the most important on Gran Canaria. The island´s government has implemented a project here to improve and beautify the area. The Maipez mountains, after which the hotel is named, cover an area of around 30,000 m³. Volcanic eruptions and the solidification of the lava flow shaped these mountains.
How to get there:
From the airport, head towards Las Palmas de G.C. (GC-1). About 8 km along the road, guests will arrive in the city. Take the right hand lane, then turn off onto the GC-3 towards Tafira, following signs for the hospital. Changing directions, take the tunnel and the Secadero exit (CG-110) until reaching the crossing. Take another right towards Secadero. Drive straight on towards St. Brígida until La Calzada junction (CG-310). After around 1 km guests will see the road to La Calzada on the left hand side (GC-320). Drive for a further 500 m and after the road narrows and La Calzada tennis and paddle club, guests will find the hotel.
